Failing at maintaining high standards, is hard work. At any given moment, at any given time you are assured to let someone down, hurt someone's feelings, or just generally make a mess of things.
Failing to have any standards is easy. At any given moment, at any given time, you can be assured that, you don't care, they don't care and generally things don't get cared for.
Looking back on my life, I'm not sure I chose the right one. How about you?
