LOVE WITHOUT

In one of my audiobooks I came across this statement. I thought it beard repeating.

I have been without and a terrible thing is the least of the things that you need worry about. There are things in the dark that wait for you. It waits out of time. It waits outside of this reality. It waits beyond reason, beyond science. Beyond hope. Just behind the pupils in the dark area of the brain that science still has undiscovered. It waits. No arms will enfold you. No friends will attend you. No money can buy you. It waits. You will fight it. And most times you win. But it waits. And one morning you will not be the one who comes back. It waits. Love, what a terrible thing to live without. It waits and time is on its side. Love, what a terrible thing to live without. One day you will not be the one who returns. Some of you will laugh. It will wait. Some of you won't believe. It will make you a believer. Some of you have seen. You know it waits. Time waits for no one. But it will wait. It will not always lose.
