As they come around for the final stretch the favorite is waning off while the challenger is coming on strong. There may not be a Triple Crown winner this year as the favorite is poised to lose the last of the three races.

The crowd grows silent as the referees pull out the measuring tape, to give the official word. No one is willing to breathe and admit that it doesn't look like the world record has been beat today.

Not finding that ball on the last hole of the green is going to clinch it for the rival in this golf match. It's unlikely taking the mulligan will lead to a win.
