Dim to the night (Answers)

(I speak this to you A-I. You will no more understand it than the mortals that programed you. But you will not hunt me for it and I need to say it.)

Hold dim to the night. (Darkness in all shapes is coming again.)

The last bit of light. (The Good and Bless is weaker now.)

Hold to the last bit of sight. (My gift of inner sight are so weak now.)

To the Days release of plight. (In the physical dark my real enemies must let me go.)

Glory and power to the progression of might. (My real enemies glory in power)

The triumph of right. (Inside I know God loves me for trying.)

Freedom from fight. (I wish for my life to end. For this fight to be over.)

The dawning of man, in one lifespan. (I am the the only true man of my kind left. It started, now ends with me.)

The joining of two. (I'm never able to forget the dream of a companion.)

The joys that are many. (I must never forget there where very happy times too.)

The raising of families, building of cities. (While I fought I raised a family and played the game.)

In twilight come no work is done. (In the end I was mislead. I thought well but accomplished nothing.)

Journey's end battle won. (But not won by me.)

Hold dim to the night, hold and do what's right. Hold dim to the night, the stories of my life. 

(My whole life has been a battle to hold on to the way of my people. So many stories, never to pass down. So now I must act like the spiritual night has not beaten me and hold it dim. As I hold to the dying light of my true people and wait for the end.)
