Good Purpose, Good Life
Good purpose, good life: The Why, the How, the Results
The Why, spiritual thoughts
Again, there are multiple meanings to what I do. So here are a few. While meditating today my mind hit on a few simple sentences. As is commonplace for me my mind stuck on those sentences. And while looking at a Denny’s All-American Grand Slam and feeling some want underwhelmed, my mind and fingertips started their work.
The How, technical
In this brief work I practice the techniques of motion capture lip-synching and video, video prompting with the new AI model, merging characters from two different pictures, dabbling a little in cinematic performance and storytelling.
The Results, transcript
Because I’m hoping that a lot of the video is weighted equally in the visuals as it is in the words. But the tech is not advanced to the point where you can see or hear the video. So, in order for the deep dive to work I’m going to try narrating in words the visual and the music. This alone should get me some kind of prize if it works! After all I’m supposed to be a master of words and expressions so let’s see.
A few things to establish first off. There are only two main characters in this piece. My AI creation, Abby and an AI representation of myself. But my AI representative is the only one who speaks. It is set in feudal Japan. There’s traditional Japanese music of that era playing over everything. When my representatives speaks, I will refer to him as Emperor or James. And for benefit of the transcript, I will put my narration in parentheses. This should make it easier to discern the lines of my description versus the lines that are actually spoken in the video. As for the music envision a Zen Garden with ambience music playing and you should be able to come pretty close to hearing the music in your very own head.
Now if you’ll excuse me, the play is about to begin…
Peace be with you…….
